NMC

i'm tired of holding my tongue.

in other news i'm home, finally. Haven't been here in a long time. I'll be here for two days, then back to jomo to work. kinda messed up right.

tonight i be eatin good. :)

so i went to the missionary convention. I put a little direction to my path. I talked to a woman who i respect highly, and talked about God's direction and such. We both decided we would pray about it, so we'll see. The convention went well overall. And i'm thankful that i was able to go with the people i went with. It really was a good time. :)

state of mind

lost in a state of mind.
while others play i sit and think.
solitude.

just too much.
too much on the mind.
i know God is moving.
But where, God.
And how.
Can i watch?
Because i can't see.

And i hear the words, "Have faith".

the smell

At least three nights out of the week i find myself standing motionless, with a deep hunger to go back to my foreign home. I call it foreign because it's not my home, but the feeling i get is the same when you haven't been home in years. I'm not usually in tune to feel this sort of way, but lately it's been happening rather frequently because of the repetitive position i'm put in. Each night I work, I walk outside to sweep the front steps. Each and every time i do this, i'm overcome with the smell of the Philippines. It causes me to stop and close my eyes, just for a moment as memories rush back into my mind. Nasuli and the peaceful walk to the center. The bike rides through the mud roads. the children standing near their homes waving and staring along as they stop playin with their toy to look up with their big brown eyes. I want to go back. End of story, where's my ticket?
Reality: i'll stay here for the summer and create some sort of money to live off of, seeing where the road called 'God's path' takes me.
